From overgrown to usable
Land clearing covers a lot of ground, literally and in terms of approach. A vacant lot grown up in brush, a parcel being readied for sale, acreage being opened up for pasture or a development site waiting on its first crew all need different things. We match the method to the job, using brush hogging, forestry mulching and haul-off as the site calls for, and we work for landowners, investors, developers, builders and property managers across Maryland.
What land clearing includes
- Brush and overgrowth removal across lots and acreage.
- Clearing to defined limits marked in the field or shown on your plan.
- Access openings for surveyors, perc testing, well drillers and equipment.
- Cleanup and haul-off of cleared material when it can't stay on site.
- Follow-on site work such as rough grading and access prep.

For developers and builders
On development and building sites, clearing is the first step in a sequence. We work to the approved plan and limits of disturbance, coordinate with your sediment and erosion control requirements, and leave the site ready for site preparation and grading. Clean, square limits make the next trade's job easier and keep the site in line with the plan.
For landowners and investors
An overgrown parcel is hard to sell, hard to survey and hard to use. Clearing it opens up sightlines, shows off the land and makes it accessible for buyers, surveyors and inspectors. For agricultural land, clearing can bring grown-up ground back into pasture or hay; from there, regular mowing keeps it open.
Before we start
Tell us where the property is, roughly how much area needs clearing, what's growing on it and what the land will be used for next. Let us know about wells, septic, utilities and boundaries. Some clearing in Maryland requires county approvals, so check what applies to your project. We'll send a written quote with the scope and price.
