After the storm passes
Thunderstorms, wind events and the remnants of tropical systems regularly scatter limbs and brush across Maryland farms and properties. Debris in a pasture is a hazard for livestock, debris in a hayfield damages mowers and balers, and debris across a lane or access road cuts off the property. Our storm debris cleanup clears that material so the land can get back to work.
What we clean up
- Fields and pastures. Limbs and brush picked up before haying, mowing or turning livestock back out.
- Access roads and lanes. Debris cleared so vehicles and equipment can get through.
- Lots and acreage. Scattered debris cleaned up on vacant land and investment parcels.
- Commercial grounds and common areas. Storm debris cleared from open space, pond edges and easements.
- Fence lines. Debris lying on or along fences cleared so the fence can be checked and repaired.
What's in scope
We clear debris that's already on the ground. Standing, leaning or hung-up trees are outside our scope and need to be addressed by the appropriate licensed professional before we start. If the storm also damaged buildings, roofs or porches, our construction side at ripnflipmd.com handles storm response and rebuilds for property managers and businesses.
Mulch it or haul it
Depending on the site, storm debris can be ground in place with forestry mulching along woods lines and rough areas, or loaded out with our debris haul-off service where the ground needs to be clean, such as hayfields and pastures. We'll recommend the approach when we look at the property.
Getting back to normal
Once the debris is cleared, we can follow up with brush hogging or field mowing to get the property back in shape. Send the location, photos of the debris and access details, and we'll send a written quote.
